What is Blue Collar Money?
Blue Collar Money is a household money system designed for working families whose pay can change with overtime, shifts, seasonal work, or commissions. It connects bills, safe-to-spend money, payday routing, goals, debt, emergency savings, reports, and a weekly family decision in one web-based command center.
How much does Blue Collar Money cost?
The supported founding-family edition costs $29 once. It is not a subscription, and there is no paid upgrade tier hiding additional tools.
How is this different from a normal budget app?
Most budget apps begin with categories and past spending. Blue Collar Money begins with dependable take-home pay, essential household costs, bills due before the next check, and the lowest projected cash point in the next 30 days. The goal is one useful household decision, not perfect categorization.
Does Blue Collar Money work when overtime changes?
Yes. The method separates dependable pay from overtime or other variable income. Essential life is compared with dependable pay, while extra income is assigned to current gaps, reserves, expensive debt, and ownership goals in a chosen order.
Where is my financial information stored?
Household numbers you enter are normally stored in your own browser. Blue Collar Money does not receive those dollar amounts through its normal dashboard workflow. Clearing browser data, changing devices, or using private browsing can remove that locally stored plan.
Why do I need an account?
An account lets the system confirm that the email signing in has a paid Stripe purchase. It protects access to the customer dashboard. Your account is not used to place your household dollar amounts in the authentication database.
How long does setup take?
Start with current cash, essential costs, the next paycheck and date, and bills due before it. Review the dated estimate, then add other paychecks and household details as you have them. Time varies; there is no measured completion-time promise. Recheck the plan each payday.
Can two earners use different pay schedules?
Yes. Add individual dated paychecks with an expected, confirmed, or canceled status, including the variable portion of each check. Only listed dates count in that mode; a future paycheck is not repeated automatically. Compare reduced variable pay and delayed-pay scenarios.
Does the partner link sync our plan?
No. It transfers a snapshot, not live updates. Review the snapshot date before importing it. A full-plan link contains sensitive household details, so share it only with someone you trust. A shorter weekly-action message is also available.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You may request a full refund for any reason within 30 calendar days of purchase by emailing support@bluecollarmoney.app. The complete terms are in the published Refund Policy.
Is this financial advice?
No. Blue Collar Money provides educational tools and general information. It does not provide individualized investment, tax, legal, lending, or accounting advice, and it does not guarantee an outcome.
